Activities and Achievements
We are promoting the use of renewable energy sources.
- Installation of power generation facilities for in-house consumption
In addition to our Kawasaki headquarters, we have installed solar power generation equipment at our overseas locations to supply a portion of the electricity used in our business activities.

- Utilization of renewable energy sources
In addition to our two domestic locations (Kawasaki headquarters and Kashiwazaki factory), we are also promoting a switch to renewable energy sources at our overseas locations.
While renewable energy-derived electricity was only used at our Indian location in 2018, as of 2025, its use has expanded to four countries, and 79% of the group's total electricity consumption is supplied by renewable energy-derived electricity.

Changes in CO2 emissions
By procuring electricity from renewable energy sources at our Kawasaki headquarters and factories in China, we expect to be able to reduce our Group's global CO2 emissions by 35.3% in 2025 compared to 2018.
