Introduction of renewable energy-derived electricity at Kawasaki Head Office

As part of its efforts to achieve carbon neutrality, Igarashi Electric Works Co., Ltd. (hereinafter referred to as "the Company") has switched the electricity consumed at its Kawasaki headquarters (Saiwai-ku, Kawasaki City, Kanagawa Prefecture) to be derived from renewable energy from January 2025.

 As a result of this change, CO2 emissions are expected to be reduced by approximately 260 tons per year. (Estimated based on actual results in fiscal year 2023)

 

The Company has been using CO2-free electricity at its Kashiwazaki Factory (Kashiwazaki City, Niigata Prefecture) since April 2023.
The Company also aims to reduce CO2 emissions at its overseas factories in China and India by using electricity derived from renewable energy sources.

 The Company will continue to work toward achieving carbon neutrality and a sustainable society through its business activities.
